Razzle Dazzle...

Per chi se lo chiedesse, non è che mi sono inciampate le dita scrivendo il titolo: è proprio il nome del set Stampin Up del quale fa parte il timbro usato su questo biglietto.

Ho iniziato stampando sul fondo in cartoncino (Stampin Up Purely Pomegranate) uno degli sfondi di Cornish Heritage Farms, Polka Dots Backgrounder in inchiostro Impress Garnet.

La carta di sfondo è stampata con la laser e viene dal set di carte digitali di Peppermint Creative "October Rust". L'ho tagliata usando la dima "Top Note" prodotta dalla Sizzix in esclusiva per Stampin Up.

A dire la verità non vedo l'ora di ricevere le Labels 8 di Spellbinders che ho ordinato. Hanno la stessa forma di questa, ma naturalmente sono vendute in set da 6 on la possibilità dell'embossing sul bordo, che le rende speciali!

Altre Spellbinders che aspetto con ansia sono le Labels 9, che hanno una forma - secondo me - bellissima. Le ho viste e ordinate: un colpo di fulmine. Tocca darsi agli straordinari forzati.

Tornando al biglietto, il timbro è colorato direttamente su gomma con i pennarelli Impress Olive, Autumn Leaf, Carmine e Peony Pink, per riprendere un po' i colori della carta di sfondo.

Very simple card, made for my sister's birthday.

I used Stampin Up Purely Pomegranate cardstock for the base of my card, and I stamped it with a Cornish Heritage Farms stamp (Polka Dots Backgrounder), using Impress "Garnet" ink.

Then I cut out a layer from laser printed paper (Peppermint Creative "October Rust") using my SU exclusive Top Note Sizzix die. I like it, especially for the faux stitching on the border, but I must say that I can't wait to receive my new Spellbinders "Labels 8" dies. They have this same shape, but are sold in a set of six dies and have the usual edge embossing feature that's absolutely great.

I also ordered the "Labels 9" set, it was love at first sight!

"Razzle Dazzle" is the name of the Stampin Up set that contains the stamp I used this time. I colored directly on the rubber using my Impress markers: Olive, Autumn Leaf, Carmine e Peony Pink, chosen to match the printed paper.
