Aggiornamenti e scuse / I'm sorry, Jan Marie

Notizie dall'interno. Ho le ossa rotte, le giunture che cigolano, e mi sento uno straccio. Il dottore dice che è para influenzale, e devo dire che anche a me mi para influenza. ;-D

Approfitto per mostrare un lavoretto, e fare sentite e dovute scuse.

Tempo fa avevo messo all'asta un blog candy fatto a chiacchierino e l'aveva vinto Jan Marie, negli Stati Uniti. Gliel'ho spedito, e dopo un po' mi è tornato indietro con la busta strappata e il biglietto che ci avevo messo dentro completamente rovinato.

Per fortuna il pezzo a chiacchierino era sano. Le avevo scritto, dicendole che gliel'avrei rimandato subito, e come per magia le cose al lavoro sono precipitate. Poi c'è stato Halloween e mi sono completamente dimenticata il pezzo nella sua bustina, sopra lo scaffale dei miei lavori.

Oggi l'ho rivisto, mi ha preso un coccolone e mi sono messa lì per fare un biglietto di accompagnamento. Ne è uscito questo coso, con dentro il segnalibro a chiacchierino.

E' un lavoro un po' particolare, perché è fatto usando gli Adirondack Alcohol Inks della Ranger (Eggplant e Denim) su avanzi di acetato.

I fiori e la scritta (set Upsy Daisy di Stampin Up) sono stampati con lo StazOn Opaque bianco e il tutto è montato su cartoncino Almost Amethyst (Stampin Up), fermato con dei brads in modo da poter togliere comodamente il segnalibro.

Volendo, si può ritagliare la parte decorata davanti e tenere anche quella come segnalibro...


Today there is something I have to avow.

Time ago Jan Marie won a blog candy I made, it was a tatted bookmark. I sent the piece and after a couple of weeks, the envelope came back torn, with a note of our mail service: 'we apologize blah blah blah'.

I wrote to Jan Marie and I told her I was going to send another envelope but... it is still here... so today I made another bookmark holder to send the tatted piece.

I used some scraps of acetate, sponged some Adirondack Alcohol Inks (Eggplant and Denim), and stamped the flowers and the sentiment (SU Upsy Daisy set) in Cotton White Opaque StazOn ink.

The pieces are kept together using brads, so it will be easy to take our the tatted bookmark and (if the envelope will make it safe and sound) the front part will be ready to be used as another bookmark (the alcohol inks and the StazOn flowers are sandwiched between two acetate layers, and won't stain the pages).
